To watch the sunset is always an enjoyable experience, the deep vivid colours vary so much and can be extremely rewarding to watch. As the sun lowers to the horizon the light patterns constantly change creating unique and interesting pictures.
The Four Stones on the summit of Clent Hill made an ideal location; the silhouette of each stone produced a stunning image. Another interesting location was over Goonhilly Downs in Cornwall unfortunately this was not a planed trip so was a little late in the day to get the perfect picture.
Locations featured include:
Malvern Hills, Worcestershire
Clent Hills, Worcestershire
Goonhilly Downs, Cornwall
Dazzling Malvern Hills Sunset, 10th August 2010. Unfortunately I didn’t really capture the full beauty of the evening sky colours on this one. The low lying cloud slightly shielded the beaming yellow sun producing a wonderful orange edge to the cloud. As the sun lowered below the horizon the colours changed dramatically to a tint of blue.
